Tax Specialist

Purpose of the role

The ideal candidate will be part of the Administration, Legal and Corporate Affairs, Contracts, HR and IT Department, reporting to the Head of Administration & Financial Reporting and will be responsible for ensuring that all of Gruppo IGD’s companies comply with current tax laws and regulations.


Responsibilities and duties

  • Ensure that tax regulations are complied with correctly (e.g., tax calculation, allocation to exempt and taxable operations, etc.), including all tax filings and returns;
  • Ensure tax updates are carried out within the organization;
  • Provide support on issues and compliance related to direct, indirect and local taxation;
  • Submit filings to the Revenue Agency as a Registered Agent;
  • Provide technical support on tax matters related to corporate finance transactions;
  • Manage the procedures relating to notices of audit independently and/or in collaboration with other company divisions involved;
  • Interface on behalf of the company during tax audits, sign daily reports and the final report, verify and validate all documentation requested before submitting it to the auditors;
  • Ensure that the filing and backup processes are carried out correctly (invoices, mandatory books and ledgers).


Job requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Economics or related fields
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar position in structured companies or professional firms
  • Specialized expertise in corporate tax
  • Good understanding of the Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Good spoken and written English

  • Self-starter and ability to work independently
