For 2027 energy costs fixed for over 80% of the entire freehold portfolio’s requirements
IGD announces that today it has finalized a contract to fix, for 2027, the price of energy purchases for 80% of the energy needs of its entire freehold portfolio, at an average value of €97/MWh, €2 lower than the price set for 2026.
In 2025, as announced on March 10, the purchase price of energy had been set at an average value of €99/MWh for 73% of the energy needs of the Group’s entire freehold portfolio for 2026.
“The early setting of the energy price up to 2027 further strengthens visibility on energy costs in a context that remains characterized by high volatility. This transaction, in line with the guidelines of the 2025–2027 Business Plan, confirms the effectiveness of the Group’s procurement policies and active cost management strategy. This initiative, together with the ongoing rollout of photovoltaic systems, helps reducing exposure to potential future fluctuations, enabling us to maintain a responsible approach in managing the energy component”, commented Roberto Zoia, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of IGD SIIQ S.p.A.
