A new shopping center opens in Isola d’Asti

45 million of euro invested

Tomorrow, December 3rd, Igd Siiq, one of the key players in the Italian retail real estate sector and listed on the Star segment of the Italian Stock Exchange, will open the “I Bricchi” Shopping Center in  Isola d’Asti, Piedmont inside of which it owns a mall with a total GLA of 18,220 m2 comprised of 25 stores, a medium sized indoor area and five medium sized external facilities.  The center also has an important grocery anchor thanks to the presence of a 6,535 m2 hypermarket belonging to the operator Il Gigante.

The total investment will be €45 million.

22 businesses will be opening and Igd expects to let the remaining spaces by first half 2010.

The I Bricchi Center is off the A33 Asti-Cuneo Motorway near the Isola d’Asti exit. There is also a bicycle – walking trail that links the shopping center to the city.  The potential customer base consists of 212,000 residents who can reach the center in 30 minutes by car.  The complex has  1,450 parking places.

The I Bricchi’s shopping mall houses a diversified mix of vendors which includes well known brands like  Deichmann Calzature, BonPrix, Game7 Athletics, Blue Spirit and GameStop.

The I Bricchi Shopping Center is Igd Siiq’s fourth opening in  2009, following the Tiburtino Center in Guidonia, on the outskirts of Rome (opened in April),  the Katané Center in Gravina, near Catania, (opened in May) and the Le Maioliche Center in Faenza (opened in June and purchased in October).
