Powy and IGD Siiq: agreement to promote electric mobility and the installation of charging stations in some shopping centers

Powy, a company that owns, develops and manages Italy’s leading independent network of public charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, and IGD – Immobiliare Grande Distribuzione SIIQ S.p.A., one of Italy’s leading operators in the retail real estate sector specialising in shopping centres and listed on the STAR segment of the Italian Stock Exchange, have signed an agreement for the installation of new electric charging stations at IGD-owned shopping centres.

The new infrastructure will be gradually activated throughout 2026, starting with the first installation rolled out in April at the Maremà Centre in Grosseto. This initiative marks a concrete step forward in promoting electric mobility and sustainable solutions, offering users the ability to charge their vehicles quickly with energy sourced entirely from renewables. The plan also includes expanding the infrastructure with new installations in various locations across the country.

The charging stations will be equipped with advanced technologies and will offer different power levels, ensuring an efficient and accessible service for all. Customers will have multiple options for using the charging stations, including the Powy Charge app, which makes it easy to locate available points, follow the charging process, and finalise payment safely and effortlessly.
