Energy & HSE Manager

Purpose of the role

Guarantee Health, Safety & Environment operations relating, specifically, to the control and support of the shopping center networks and the relative reporting; take care of the strategic management of energy and the efficiencies implemented; support the Group certification activities, relating to both the environment and safety, as well as the efficiency activities/ESG implementation specific to the real estate portfolio.

 

Responsibilities and duties

Participate in the promotion and strengthening of the HSE culture, contribute to identifying the HSE roles, duties and activities, while also working on planning and managing training.

Ensure that the activities related to the following are managed correctly.

Safety:

  1. guarantee services, including through outside providers (HSM);
  2. manage the HSE portal;
  3. guarantee the follow-up relative to any NC findings and observations made during the periodic inspections;
  4. participate in the periodic meetings with shopping center managers;
  5. prepare the safety reports for the Safety Managers and the Supervisory Board;
  6. guarantee periodic specialized training.

Environment:

  1. monitor the status of waste permits (any changes/transfers, fulfillment of any obligations, etc.);
  2. monitor any GE law compliance audits;
  3. support ISO 14001 certification, as well as other environmental certifications (Breeam, etc.).

Health:

  1. support the Group “Bio SafetyTrust” certification;
  2. manage the activities relating to health.

Energy:

  1. manage the purchase of energy from energy providers;
  2. support Asset Management and the ESG personnel in the preparation of the portfolio’s energy efficiency plans.

 

Job requirements

  1. college degree, preferably in engineering or H&S, Energy & Environment
  2. at least 3-5 years of experience in similar positions
  3. great understanding of Legislative Degree 81/2008 as a result of specific, documented training
  4. excellent digital skills (Office 365 and H&S portals)
  5. good analytical and synthesis, Planning, Reporting, and Problem-Solving skills, as well as results driven,
  6. strong communication skills.
