Energy efficiency and environmental sustainability in our shopping centers

When talking about sustainability in the shopping center sector, the buildings’ energy efficiency cannot be overlooked. An efficient building is a comfortable building that has a reduced impact on the environment. It is a building, therefore, that can be managed less expensively, and that provides benefits not only to the owner, but also to the tenants and the entire community.

In line with this vision, since 2012 we have consistently minimized the environmental impact of our shopping centers, implementing ever-more effective actions across both asset construction/restyling and routine day-to-day operation, thus driving the transition toward a ‘low-carbon’ economy.
