IT Business Partner

Purpouse of the role

The Business Partner works closely with the company’s administrative and accounting departments to ensure the efficiency, development and proper functioning of the processes supported by the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (MS BC) management system. She/he is a point of reference for the optimisation of accounting flows and for technical and functional support to users.

 

Main responsibilities

  • Support the analysis of new requirements and the implementation of development changes.
  • Interact with external partners and consultants for the configuration and customisation of modules and financial reporting, based on business needs.
  • Manage and maintain the MS Business Central system, with a particular focus on the needs of the accounting department.
  • Provide technical support to internal users to resolve issues related to MS Business Central.
  • Help identify system errors and malfunctions, implementing effective solutions together with the system integrator.
  • Create and update technical documentation and user manuals for system users.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting team to prepare reports and analyses related to company performance, including deviation analysis.

 

Required skills

  • Education: degree in Economics, Management Engineering or related studies;
  • Experience: knowledge of key accounting and administrative processes. Previous experience with an ERP system;
  • Technical Skills:
    • Knowledge of key accounting and administrative processes;
    • In-depth knowledge of MS Business Central, mainly in relation to general and cost accounting;
    • Skills in analysing and resolving ERP system problems;
    • Skills in data analysis and reporting;
    • Excellent knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Excel;
    • Excellent knowledge of English;
  • Interpersonal Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external users;
    • Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team;
    • Proactivity;
    • Excellent analytical and summarising skills.
