The restyling project of Centro Leonardo in Imola (BO) calls for work on the interiors, external facades and entrances. The first phase, already completed, involved the interiors where, thanks to the complete restyling of the malls with new flooring, a new design with organically shaped false ceilings and reorganized courtyards, gave the center a new look. The food court was also enhanced with new ceilings, as well as reconfigured seating areas and kiosks. A fresher, sustainable and young design, rendered with warm tones, wood and new lighting. There are also play areas for kids, places for students to study and entertainment.
The lighting used in the different areas is particularly noteworthy. During the day ample natural lighting, filtered through skylights located throughout the malls and the courtyards, is used; in the evening, the new lighting system highlights the soft, dynamic shapes of the new false ceilings and accent the elements characterizing the new mall.
The second phase, curretly underway, involves the exteriors of Leonardo Shopping Center, where the entrances along via Giovanni Amendola, with enhanced street views, will be particularly visible. Seating areas with lounges near the main entrances will also be added.
