a company listed in the STAR division of the Italian Stock Exchange, operating in the retail real estate sector &#8211; met today in Bologna to examine figures for the fourth quarter of 2005, which proved to be growing and in keeping with forecasts.<\/p>\n<p class=\" text-justify\">The company\u2019s real estate assets underwent significant revaluation and were above expectations during the last quarter of 2005, going from \u20ac 6.3 million in the fourth quarter of 2004 to \u20ac 19.1 million for the last quarter (Euro 33,4 M at the end of 2005).<\/p>\n<p class=\" text-justify\">This significant result \u2013 confirming the company\u2019s consolidation and its continued growth \u2013 is primarily due the constant modernization and upgrading of its own structures as well as an improvement in the average cost of capital and an improvement in market conditions.<\/p>\n<p class=\" text-justify\">These factors, as well as the purchase of the \u201cMalatesta\u201d centre in Rimini, allowed IGD to reach a real estate assets of 646,6 M Euro.<\/p>\n<p class=\" text-justify\">Profits from sales totalled approximately \u20ac 14 million, a 2.2% increase compared to \u20ac 13.7 million for the same period in the previous year.<\/p>\n<p class=\" text-justify\">The gross operating margin (EBITDA) was equal to \u20ac 8.4 million, essentially in line with the \u20ac 8.6 million for 2004, notwithstanding the substantial increase in structural costs attributable to the company\u2019s growth.<\/p>\n<p class=\" text-justify\">The operating margin (EBIT) registered a substantial increase, equal to 85.9%, going from \u20ac 14.9 million to \u20ac 27.6 million.<\/p>\n<p class=\" text-justify\">The company\u2019s pre-tax profits totalled \u20ac 26.7 million compared to \u20ac 12.6 million for the same period in 2004.<\/p>\n<p class=\" text-justify\">The financial position of the IGD Group was equal to 115,7 million Euro.<\/p>\n<p class=\" text-justify\">During the fourth semester of 2005, the company \u2013 as already divulged during the IPO \u2013 finalised its purchase of the \u201cMalatesta\u201d centre in Rimini, and began its own investments in southern Italy by finalising a preliminary contract for a shopping centre in Palermo.<\/p>\n<p class=\" text-justify\">It is the purchase of the shopping centre in Palermo which allows IGD to be present in a highly strategic geographic area for market growth in southern Italy \u2013 and Sicily in particular.<\/p>\n<p class=\" text-justify\">\u201c<em>During the fourth quarter<\/em>\u201d, commented\u00a0<strong>Filippo Carbonari, Managing Director of IGD<\/strong>, \u201c<em>our company\u2019s great dynamism and its capacity to anticipate and obtain the objectives of the industrial plan, both from a financial and a business point of view, was confirmed<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Board of Directors of IGD S.p.A. met today in Bologna to examine figures for the fourth quarter of 2005, which proved to be growing and in keeping with forecasts<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":6,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[86],"tags":[88],"class_list":["post-17239","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-price-sensitive-en","tag-risultati-economico-finanziari-en"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.gruppoigd.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/17239","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.gruppoigd.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.gruppoigd.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.gruppoigd.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/6"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.gruppoigd.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=17239"}],"version-history":[{"count":3,"href":"https:\/\/www.gruppoigd.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/17239\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":17420,"href":"https:\/\/www.gruppoigd.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/17239\/revisions\/17420"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.gruppoigd.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=17239"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.gruppoigd.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=17239"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.gruppoigd.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=17239"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
