{"id":16729,"date":"2018-12-21T15:49:09","date_gmt":"2018-12-21T14:49:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gruppoigd.it\/due-importanti-e-positivi-riscontri-in-chiusura-danno-buoni-andamenti-operativi-dei-centri-commerciali-e-ripresa-dei-lavori-nel-comparto-officine-storiche\/"},"modified":"2018-12-21T15:56:26","modified_gmt":"2018-12-21T14:56:26","slug":"due-importanti-e-positivi-riscontri-in-chiusura-danno-buoni-andamenti-operativi-dei-centri-commerciali-e-ripresa-dei-lavori-nel-comparto-officine-storiche","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gruppoigd.it\/en\/due-importanti-e-positivi-riscontri-in-chiusura-danno-buoni-andamenti-operativi-dei-centri-commerciali-e-ripresa-dei-lavori-nel-comparto-officine-storiche\/","title":{"rendered":"Two important and positive findings emerged when closing the year: good operating results for the shopping centers and work resumes on the Officine Storiche section"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>SHOPPING CENTERS SHOWING POSITIVE RESULTS IN TERMS OF RETAILERS\u2019 SALES <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The retailers\u2019 <\/strong>sales recorded in the Group\u2019s Italian malls over the<strong> two-month period October- November <\/strong>were <strong>3.2% higher than in 2017,\u00a0 with 80% of the shopping centers showing increases. <\/strong>The results for the entire network were also <strong>positive over the 11 month period<\/strong>, coming in at +<strong>2.0% <\/strong>(+0.3% excluding the ESP Shopping Center).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u201c<\/em><\/strong><em>In a consumer environment and with retail trends characterized by strong and profound change, <strong>IGD continues to obtain positive feedback from its network\u201d Claudio Albertini, IGD\u2019s Chief Executive Officer stated \u201c<\/strong><\/em>The results posted during the Black Friday period were also up, with footfalls rising 3.1% which confirms that the co-existence of physical and online sales channels has become a reality\u201d<\/p>\n<p>***<\/p>\n<p><strong>Building permit obtained in accordance with the agreement signed on 15 November relative to the \u201cPorta a Mare\u201d Project<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Today the company received the building permit issued pursuant to the agreement signed on\u00a0 15 November relating to the \u201cPorta a Mare\u201d Project \u00a0in Livorno, and specifically the Officine Storiche section.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Officine Storiche section will house stores, restaurants, a megastore, residences, as well as a large fitness and wellness center<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Overview of the Porta a Mare Project <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Porta a Mare is located in a prime spot in the heart of Livorno, just a short walk from the historic center, overlooking the sea. \u00a0The project to transform Livorno\u2019s waterfront through the development of a gross floor area (GFA) of more 70,000 m<sup>2<\/sup> is subdivided into 5 areas (Piazza Mazzini, Officine Storiche, Arsenale, Molo Mediceo and Lips) which will be used for different purposes; residences, services, accommodations and shops. When the work is finished, the IGD Group will maintain ownership of the retail spaces while the other areas will be sold to third parties.<\/p>\n<p>Work was begun in 2010.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Work on the Piazza Mazzini section (total of around 19,000 m<sup>2<\/sup>) was completed and the retail portion, where there is a COOP supermarket as well as stores, restaurants, services and an office building (Palazzo Orlando), has been operative since January 2014; more than 90.7% of the residential units (69 out of 73 apartments) have sold.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE NEW OFFICINE STORICHE SECTION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Now that the building permit has been obtained, IGD will focus on completing the <strong><u>Officine Storiche section<\/u><\/strong>: \u00a0around 5,000 m<sup>2<\/sup> will be used for residential units (43), \u00a0while around 15,600 m<sup>2<\/sup> will be dedicated to retail: the latter is the biggest and most attractive portion of the entire project.<\/p>\n<p>A total of around \u20ac53 million is expected to be invested in work on the section which should be completed by the first half of 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The retail portion (which will continue to be owned by IGD and which was also presented at the last edition of Mapic held mid- November in Cannes) will comprise a fitness center with a swimming pool and a spa (around \u00a04,500 m2) for which a lease agreement with a premiere operator has already been signed;\u00a0 there will also be ample areas dedicated to restaurants, services, entertainment and shopping for which many expressions of interest have been received.<\/p>\n<p>As for the other areas (Molo Mediceo, Arsenale and Lips) project efficiencies\/rationalization are currently being assessed with a view to enhancing them over the next few years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Shopping centers showing positive results in terms of retailers&#8217; sales and the new Officine Storiche section<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":6,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[90],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-16729","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-no-price-sensitive-en"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.gruppoigd.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/16729","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.gruppoigd.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.gruppoigd.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.gruppoigd.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/6"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.gruppoigd.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=16729"}],"version-history":[{"count":2,"href":"https:\/\/www.gruppoigd.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/16729\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":16733,"href":"https:\/\/www.gruppoigd.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/16729\/revisions\/16733"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.gruppoigd.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=16729"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.gruppoigd.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=16729"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.gruppoigd.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=16729"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
