{"id":14752,"date":"2009-05-04T11:23:56","date_gmt":"2009-05-04T09:23:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gruppoigd.it\/apre-a-catania-un-nuovo-centro-commerciale\/"},"modified":"2018-10-10T17:39:50","modified_gmt":"2018-10-10T15:39:50","slug":"apre-a-catania-un-nuovo-centro-commerciale","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gruppoigd.it\/en\/apre-a-catania-un-nuovo-centro-commerciale\/","title":{"rendered":"A new shopping mall opening in Catania"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong>\u20ac59 million\u00a0 invested<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Occupancy rate at 100%: rental income will, therefore, be immediately at full capacity<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\" text-justify\">Tomorrow May 5th, Igd Siiq S.p.A., one of the key players in the Italian retail real estate sector and listed on the Star segment of the Italian Stock Exchange, will open the \u201cKatan\u00e8\u201d commercial center in Gravina (Catania) where it owns a mall that covers a total of 15,000 m<sup>2<\/sup>, houses 70 stores and six medium-large size areas which range in size from 300 to 3,000 m<sup>2<\/sup>. The sale of food products is also important for the center thanks to the presence of the 8,000 m<sup>2<\/sup><sup>\u00a0<\/sup>hypermarket owned by Ipercoop Sicilia.<\/p>\n<p class=\" text-justify\">Igd invested a total of \u20ac59 million in the project which was paid over time beginning with the stipulation of the preliminary contract on January 12<sup>th<\/sup>. To date more than 83% of the property has been paid for while the balance will be paid in July 2009.<\/p>\n<p>The mall is completely rented and will immediately generate revenues equal to a 100% occupancy rate:\u00a0 the last vendors will, in fact,\u00a0 open within 15 days of the inauguration.<\/p>\n<p class=\" text-justify\">The Katan\u00e8 center enjoys a strategic location and good visibility;\u00a0 it faces the city\u2019s ring road and is situated between the two most exclusive and densely inhabited cities in the Catania area: Gravina and San Giovanni Galermo. The customer basin is, therefore, very promising: the catchment area exceeds 640 thousand inhabitants (within 40 minutes).
