{"id":14415,"date":"2010-04-28T08:23:11","date_gmt":"2010-04-28T06:23:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gruppoigd.it\/il-gruppo-igd-sigla-un-accordo-preliminare-per-la-cessione-di-una-quota-del-20-nella-controllata-porta-medicea-s-r-l-per-un-importo-pari-a-131-milioni-di-euro\/"},"modified":"2018-10-08T11:50:20","modified_gmt":"2018-10-08T09:50:20","slug":"il-gruppo-igd-sigla-un-accordo-preliminare-per-la-cessione-di-una-quota-del-20-nella-controllata-porta-medicea-s-r-l-per-un-importo-pari-a-131-milioni-di-euro","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gruppoigd.it\/en\/il-gruppo-igd-sigla-un-accordo-preliminare-per-la-cessione-di-una-quota-del-20-nella-controllata-porta-medicea-s-r-l-per-un-importo-pari-a-131-milioni-di-euro\/","title":{"rendered":"The IGD Group signs a preliminary agreement for the sale of a 20% interest in the subsidiary Porta Medicea s.r.l. for \u20ac13.1 million"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>The interest will be acquired by CMB, which will become an industrial partner in the \u201cPorta a Mare\u201d real estate development project in Livorno<\/h4>\n<p class=\" text-justify\">IGD &#8211; Immobiliare Grande Distribuzione SIIQ S.p.A., a company active in the retail real estate sector and listed on the Star segment of the Italian Stock Exchange, \u00a0through its wholly owned subsidiary Immobiliare Larice S.r.l., signed a preliminary agreement for the sale of a 20% interest in the subsidiary Porta Medicea S.r.l. to CMB, Cooperativa Muratori e Braccianti of Carpi, a premier domestic construction company active in real estate development with a turnover in 2009 that amounted to more than \u20ac630 million.<\/p>\n<p>The transaction value amounts to \u20ac13.1 million and the deal is expected to close by the end of May 2010.<\/p>\n<p class=\" text-justify\">The transaction, which is in line with the 2009-2013 business plan presented by the IGD Group last November 2009, will result in the entry of an industrial partner in the development ofLivorno\u2019s Porto Medicea \u00a0and the consequent splitting of the investment risk.\u00a0 The transaction will also make it possible for the IGD Group to realise a capital gain of \u20ac1.2 million with respect to the book value of the interest sold.<\/p>\n<p class=\" text-justify\">At the end of the transaction, IGD &#8211; Immobiliare Grande Distribuzione SIIQ S.p.A. will hold 60% of Porta Medicea\u2019s captial through its wholly owned real estate holding company,\u00a0 Immobiliare Larice S.r.l..<\/p>\n<p class=\" text-justify\">Following its entry into Porta Medicea S.r.l.\u2019s share capital, CMB will be involved in Project Management and act as General Contractor, as well as advisor during the marketing of the real estate project.<\/p>\n<p class=\" text-justify\">The development of Livorno\u2019s seafront, near the old town, calls for a total investment of more than \u20ac200 million with real estate development of more than 70,000 m<sup>2<\/sup>\u00a0GLA (gross lettable area) where a quality, multifunctional area which will include services, accommodations, residential and commercial areas will be built.<\/p>\n<p class=\" text-justify\">Claudio Albertini,Chief Executive Officer of IGD &#8211; Immobiliare Grande Distribuzione SIIQ S.p.A., stated: \u201cThis agreement is further testimony to our Group\u2019s timely delivery of the strategy outlined in the new 2009-2013 business plan.
